While many professionals offer testing, Dr. T.’s School Psychology background gives her an advantage in understanding school systems including special education law, IEP’s and 504 plans. She forms an alliance with parents/caregivers, advocating for appropriate treatment and services within the school setting. Too often school systems receive evaluations with interventions they are unable to meet; however, Dr. T.’s school psychology background provides her with an added advantage in understanding school guidelines and service options.

Many individuals present with signs and symptoms associated with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our comprehensive battery is used for diagnostic clarification, as well as to formulate specific interventions and recommendations for the home, school, and community settings. Many people with common mental health conditions have a right to reasonable accommodations at work under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). When requesting accommodations, an individual may sometimes need supporting documentation from mental health providers. These assessments identify cognitive strengths and weaknesses, as well as any mental health factors (i.e. Anxiety or Depression) that may be impacting one's ability to complete job functions successfully. A report is written for diagnostic clarification, identification of any cognitive and/or emotional weaknesses that impact work load abilities, and provides accommodations for the workplace environment. Typically, a specific form provided by the employer is also completed as part of the necessary documentation to receive workplace accommodations.
